I would like to clarify my previous inquiry regarding the “Meijin Supporter” membership. My goal is not to use AI during games, but rather to use it for study and training purposes.
Specifically, I am interested in using the “Sandbox” or “Study” board features where I can place stones in any configuration to analyze specific positions and test variations.
Could you please clarify the following:
Analysis Limitations: Does the “Meijin Supporter” plan provide a higher limit of playouts or a more powerful network configuration when analyzing arbitrary positions in the “Study” mode compared to the free account?
Performance: For a user who wants to use OGS as a personal study tool to analyze specific board states, are there any tangible performance advantages (speed/playouts) for Meijin subscribers in this specific mode?
Free vs. Paid: Is the KataGo analysis available in the “Study” mode limited for free users, and if so, how does it differ from the limits applied to Meijin supporters?
I want to ensure that my subscription will provide the best possible environment for my tactical study and training.
