Lately, I’ve been using the Malkovich log a lot in my teaching games with the hope that reading it will help the student some. And since I started, there have been multiple times where I accidentally put something in the chat that was supposed to go in the Malkovich log.
Obviously, if I take the time to make sure I’m in the Malkovich log I wouldn’t make this mistake, but I think it would be nice if it was more instantly apparent that I had the Malkovich log selected instead of chat. At a glance, they both just look like a wall of text and the icons used switch between them are quite small. Perhaps some sort of color change–like make the Malkovich log green or something? Maybe that’s not the best solution, but I feel like something needs to change more visibly.
