I like playing fast live games where it isn’t meaningful to play two games in parallel.
When I have a game offer running in the game.list and choose to accept a game another player has offered, normally my offer is terminated at that moment.
However, this is not stable. Every when and then, I end up with two games in parallel. On a smartphone screen, there is no real way to handle them, I only can detect them by the number of open moves displayed (as I normally don’t play correspondence games). I even encountered this problem in the middle of a game. This is annoying for the other player that just sits around waiting in the parqllely game. And if he really waits until timeout, I get the educational message to play in my games, threatening with additional sanctions.
I would appreciate a stable synchronization mechanism that only starts one live game at a time. If things happen to overlap, the player who wants to start the second game could get a message like “this challenge does not exist anymore” (what you get if you accept an offer that just has been accepted by another player).
Thank you for fixing this.
