The automatic OGS Tournaments: Japanese rules only?

one of my friends tried a ladder Challenge and it was Japanese rules but we wanted Chinese rules so he made a topic on it Ladder Rules Default To Japanese, Sadness X_X and someone told him that you cant and i don’t like it you should be allowed to choose which rules you can choose who’s with me!@Eagleeye.

I tried playing my first ladder game with a group member today. I hit challenge, the game started, and the game was using Japanese rules. Our group is specifically aimed at Chinese Rule loving players. Is there any way that we can change the ladder game settings to use Chinese rules instead?

All automatic event games use the J rules. :3 When you think about it… it makes sense, because it would be extremely silly to start half a dozen different instances of tournaments just to cover all different rulesets. The differences are mostly esoteric, anyway.
