A group of neighborhood kids live in fear of an old man and his ferocious half-tame junkyard raptor that happens to border the field they play ball on.

it took me a few minutes to come up with a movie I could summarize that I had watched recently
While the two dominant kettles of raptors prepare for a cataclysmic final confrontation, three brave raptors journey to set claw upon a big, distant rock. So often seen in the distance, so rarely touched.
They go all the way around it without touching it and then return because of shortness of breath. Despite their failure, no raptor bites their heads off and they return to applause.
