I was reminded of this important topic.
It is true that we will avoid name and shame for individuals who “commit” the typical day to day kinds of problems with their regular account that identifies them.
However, it should be obvious that the previous post doesn’t identify that person to anyone except moderators who can see more details.
Furthermore, “name and shame” should not be mistaken for “hold accountable”.
Where we have a person holding the whole site to ransom, where their offences affect a host of members, while hiding behind fake account: we certainly will hold them accountable for that.
We will also do whatever it takes, within the law to stop if from happening.
