The third place match concludes without being played, so Phillip1882, I, and Fei will split the bronze medal 2:2:1. I’m waiting for word from fuseki3 on what happened to make a pronouncement on that result.
lecw and fuseki3 are in contact, and they will be continuing the final here. Barring any other mishaps, this will be the officially-endorsed final match.
(Note for posterity: fuseki3 timed out in the original game, and VGS doesn’t have too much in the way of notifying players on time)

Congratulations to @fuseki3 and @lecw on the exciting final match! Note that lecw won the first match on time, then fuseki3 won the second match (a continuation of the first, “for lulz” per lecw) on time, though one of lecw’s groups looked pretty dead at that point. Per the tournament rules, lecw would take first; morally, I feel like fuseki3 might take some fractional gold; and overall, the audience can decide whoever’s the winner. Sorry for the equivocation on my part, but it was a pretty informal tournament and I think we can all agree that victories on time are a bit unsatisfying.
Thank you to everyone for taking some time out of your mornings/afternoons and showing up for the tournament. I apologize for all the early forfeits, but I hope you all enjoyed it.

Yes, too bad about the second time out! It’d have been fun to finish the game fully!
It’s rather hard to notice the clock on the variant go server when reading profoundly without any notifications, haha. ^^; That’s how we both timed out. 
We could have re-recontinued the game, but I think we both thought the group was likely dead.

Some notes from our review :
As for the game, it feels like lecw had a better position until the group in the centre was saved and the push at J1 should be G1 to capture it cleanly.
(We both liked Black at F6, and White’s centre group was weak at that point.)
After that, the game was fairly even feeling to both of us at M4, although we both preferred White slightly at that point, given that Black has a lot of strength and influence but no territory or moyo yet—and we wondered whether Black can make a better move at e9 to defend the group in the centre, as e9 leaves a lot of aji for White to use.
(I also liked the idea of e9 playing lightly and defending the cut at e8, though! It moves lightly into the centre and doesn’t leave so many immediate sente moves or cuts.)
Another move I wondered about was e9 at c7, as that felt a nice point for White, but leaving the cut at e8 open is also very big.
I think M4 was a beautiful way to erase the moyo and potential for White, which pushed me to find C9, which we both thought was the winning move.
I feel it is a key point in the game, as White can’t make sense of his stones and moyo if he doesn’t find a key point to respond to M4 (so, thank you for the inspiration ^^). 
After that, H11 should probably have been calmly connecting at D10.
Super exciting and fun game, and nice finale. I hope there are future toroidal go tournaments. I would join if I am available. ^^

The end of 2023 was the busiest time of my life (so far) and thus I didn’t see this until now… Is another T-Go tournament going to be held in the near future?
