I created a tournament which was targeted to start yesterday ( Play Go at online-go.com! | OGS ) but it disappeared today. I suspect this is because it didn’t reach the minimum number of players I set (100) in time. In the past, this would just mean the tournament won’t start until it reaches this minimum number of players and I’ve been using this as a feature so that more people could attend the tournament at the cost of some delay of the starting time, which is usually fine for correspondence tournaments. However, looks like now it means we risk completely losing the tournament? Can we recover the tournament somehow?

For @GreenAsJade or @anoek.
I vaguely recall some discussion about cleaning up old unstarted tournaments. Did something like that get implemented recently?

Yes we have a reaper process now that clears those out, there were many hundreds of such tournaments so they definitely needed to be regularly cleaned out, hence the new mechanism.

imo corr tournaments should stay open longer than 1 day after the starting day, in case theres not enough registered users for it to start >___>
1 day is good for live tourneys, but maybe that could be 7 days for corr tourneys?
