Un-scored Area?

I’m confused about how this game was scored. Why is some (in fact all of Black’s) unoccupied territory un-scored?

You didn’t seal the territory at C1 and D1 so neither of those regions are complete. If you played a human you would both see a warning to seal there before accepting score but bots accept score as soon as both players pass.

So against a bot I’ve got to be sure to avoid passing until territory is unambiguously controlled, even if the bot has already passed?

you should ignore incorrect passes of any opponent and do correct moves yourself

Yes that’s correct, don’t assume the bot knows best, always verify for yourself before passing.

Note that amybot is particularly weak. Expect it to make nonsensical moves (like early pass) more often
