Why does the weekend timer flash continuously?
Can’t we have a choice about this as it is an annoying feature.

You can always just cover that region of your screen with a fig leaf.

I’m not sure what the reason for the flashing might be.
The only thing I can suggest is that if the game is paused in weekend mode anyway, you may be able to use Zen mode. The main disadvantage of Zen mode is that you can’t see the clock which doesn’t matter in this case.
