Well, then I think it’s better for @MystWalker, whose turn it is now, to play N11 than it is for @yebellz to do so. If we learn that @Gia is a rebel only after yebellz has moved, it’d be rather wasteful to have played N11 in the first place…
It’s especially hard with these written Werewolf games, with several people dissecting every comma you type in search of information or to spin a narrative that benefits your team…
If we would’ve been speaking, nobody would even notice, probably.
Well, the room must be full of amnesiacs, because everyone so far believes to be a settler. Out of the known 6 allegiances, at least 2 are rebels, yet no rebels to be found.
Every hypothesis I test seems to be conflicting with something that the common sense would not allow. My only conclusion now is that someone must be making empty triangles on purpose
Myst the Little, returned to the campsite after refreshing themselves in the bushes. They stopped in their tracks and stared agape, " : O " at the colorful battlefield map and it’s changes since… well since they fell asleep trying to follow the finer theorem-based logical arguments.
“Oh my goodness! What’s going on? Everyfing ees so messy, and clumpy!”
Myst looked at the grim projections by Master @Vsotvep, and estimated the status of the landscape:
“Oh deaw…” An aide came by and updated Myst on the situation, and indicated the location on the map that was proposed for Myst to send his people:
“What?! Do they think my peopwe are pebbwes to toss to deh sea? Do they tink I’m a joke?!” Myst swung they’re fist in an arc of fury, knocking an antique salt shaker over, spilling it onto the table.
Myst bowed they’re head, their face somber a tear in their eye. “I came to dis wand to make fwiends…”
A moment passes. Myst turns and raises their head, brow furrowed in determination. "I came to dis wand to make fwiends! And I have! I now know trwee friends, and we can work togethew to secure dis land for teh good of us all! I wefuse to throw my peopwe to deh swaughtew while there are big moves to be made!
“I propose to join the gweat wawwiow @Barbanaira on the fiewd of battwe and expand our tewwitowy to deh norf at L7!”
“If @Jon_Ko is not a fwiend then we defend fwom his appwoach. I suggest @yebellz secuwe against @NeilAgg to deh west at E4, instead of risking lives at N11. If @Gia wishes to prove she is a fwiend she may test her mettwe against deh dark wizawd @Leira hersewf. Shouwd she succeeds it will be a boon to our side, if not den deh enemy will make wowse dere awfuw shape. Eithew way we will make the wand fertiwe for our last friend.
Who’s wiff me?!” >: D
As the cheers from Myst’s followers die down, Myst removes their jaunty tri-point cap and wipes their brow. “All dis sewiousness is gibing me a head-ache. I need cookies.” : <
I think the first one is actually more likely, and it if that’s the case, it seems like a good idea for a White stone to play at N11, and we could possible live in that corner, rather than losing four stones there.
If it is the latter case, a White stone at N11 would be wasted, but at least we do gain some knowledge.
By the way, whatever @MystWalker plays, I’m leaving the decision of my move (and subsequent moves going forward) up to the decision of Team White.
“Oh, how embawassing…” “Thank you fow bwinging dat to my attention @yebellz.”
"Awso, thank you for your anawysis. I still feew stwongly in my move in both cases.
“If deh fiwst case, den we can get that information at N11 at a safer moment as the settlement at M11 is as good as dead. If the second case den I feel I must play L7 to counter deh raidiating infwuence fwom L & M9.”
I believe we should find out whether Gia or Jon Ko is the last White team member with certainty sooner rather than later. If you play N11, then yebellz can still play a move like L7 instead of you, but with the difference that we know the board position.
Second, I believe the bottom right is more important than the right side, since I think the bottom right can still be killed with our extra move advantage, and the double moves making living a bit harder than usual.
Lastly, if N11 is captured, I don’t think it’s a small move. Instead of playing L7 afterwards, which is a normal Go move, we could also consider a cutting stone at K9. After Leira has moved, Barbanaira can make certain that the cutting stone has three liberties to protect it against capture by a double move, and if we manage to escape, which should be doable given our extra move advantage and triple move, then Black will have the top and the right side disconnected from each other. I expect at least one of those two or the bottom left to die as a result.
But, since yebellz has already been accidentally confirmed as the spy and the other team as the rebels, it literally makes no difference if MystWalker plays N11 or if yebellz does so in terms of information. It’s just silly to first play the move that seems good and then play the move that gives the information on how good exactly… Is L7 truly the best move both in case that Gia belongs to our team and in case Jon Ko belongs to our team?
In any case, since @yebellz agrees to play based on what the White team decides, how about @MystWalker plays at N11 and then decides where yebellz should play after we’ve established what team Gia and Jon Ko are on?
This way MystWalker keeps autonomy over which move to make, and as a bonus can weigh in the actual distribution of teams on the board.
