My thoughts: Maybe we should try to use our extra stone to cut the 2 white groups on the RHS apart. L5 or L6 would go for that directly. J10 might be another option, since it’s quasi-atari now.

I think that’s possible, but what’s the continuation? Do you think @Vsotvep will maybe then cap at K5? I guess we could then use the double-move of @richyfourtytwo and @Gia to connect out at L6 and K6?

Then again, maybe we should not make our plans so well known.

Something like that I guess.

Looking at the move order we could sort of plan to use the double move of @Gia and myself for agression and the one of @yebellz and @Leira to fix any weaknesses before the opponents double move. (If there are any. If we are still able to attack relentlessly, all the better. :bomb: )

I can play J6. That will not place our stone behind white’s line but put pressure on them.

The question is if we can win with just solid big moves like J6. If yes, fine. If no (and that’s my gut feeling even though I have forgotten how big that ernormous komi is and also I can’t claim to have that backed up by reading), it might be too passive. If the opponents play L5 after that for example, it will be very hard to separate those two groups in spite of having a double move.

I don’t have a good answer for that. I am hoping to get some guidance from the stronger players on my team.
K6 might be another option.

My initial instinct is L6 and J11 for our double move now. But a) it’s late and b) I invite my team mates to give their thoughts, so I’m not moving yet.

Another option could be to atari the settlement at H10 with G10 and J10. That is an immediate threat that needs to be answered.

We have no certainty of the alignment of most of the players yet. The only truly certain things we know are:

  • Vsotvep :blueberries: and Mystwalker :ice_cube: belong to “team White” and Leira :black_cat: belongs to “team Black” (due to capturing C10)
  • Barbanaira :dove: belongs to “team White” (due to C10 surviving)
  • At least one of Gia :cherry_blossom: or Jon Ko :tomato: belongs to “team White” (due to L10 surviving)
  • At least one of Gia :cherry_blossom: or yebellz :tangerine: belongs to “team Black” (due to M11 surviving)

All else is basically speculation. I prefer we play with the original colours.
