If anybody (except other players or kibitzers) is willing to take over for Mystwalker, please let me know.
I don’t think this is an acceptable option.
Part of the dynamic of this game is managing cooperation between a team of players, even if we do all agree that the teams are fully known at this point.
With my earlier statement of suggesting that I take over @MystWalker’s moves, I don’t expect others to agree to that either, but I wanted to point out that I see letting another (who is already part of this game) take control of two colors is not fair, in general.
I was trying to find a way to get the game moving forward and that seemed expedient.
Well, I am firmly against that, which I hope is enough to end consideration of that idea (if people agree with the principle that changing game rules should only be done with consensus by those remaining).
Ultimately, I think that going that route would be unproductive. If everyone else, including the organizer @martin3141, decides to allow @Barbanaira to make moves for @MystWalker, you’d have to find someone to make moves for me as well, since I would leave the game in such a case.
I see that differently.
I fully agree to this though.
I’m going to be honest, I’m kind of apathetic at this junction.
The game has slowed down, so the momentum and excitement kind of died off. I will continue to play the character as normal, but I’m not going to go out of my way just to keep things going. Regarding the game, to paraphrase Ivan Drago,
if it dies it dies.
I also agree with @yebellz, by the way. We’d need to recast @Mystwalker’s role with another person in equal conditions. It wouldn’t make sense otherwise.
I second everything @Leira just said, and share @yebellz’ firmly held principle that no current player of the game should be in charge of more than one colour.
No, I don’t think so.
Based on the discussion above, this game is not going to move forward.
Are people interested in reviving this game? Maybe we can find someone to replace @MystWalker?
@RubyMineshaft, interested in playing Werewolf Go?
Interested yes, but a bit pessimistic for obvious reasons.
I am interested too
Sorry, I think I’ll have to decline.
I don’t have time right now to read through the 600+ post history, and I’m not confident I’d be able to take over this late in the game without putting my team at a significant disadvantage. Thanks for the invite, though.
I actually think it would be pretty straightforward to join the game at this point, no need to read the whole history. Looking at three key moves (which we can point out) would give enough information to take over @MystWalker 's place IMHO.
