Here on OGS, DDK (10th kyu or weaker) represents anything up to about 1650 elo
SDK (9th kyu to 1st kyu) is up to about 2200 elo
Strong amatuer (1st dan up to 9th dan) goes up to about 3100 elo

The strongest human professional players are getting up to about 3700 elo

“absolute beginners” are those under 20k (100),
“starting to grasp it” is around 10k (900),
“is starting to apply the fundamentals” happens around 5k (1400),
“applies fundamentals well” is 1d (2100)
“good amateur player” is around 3d (2300)
“advanced amateur” is around 5d (2500)
“very strong amateur, that can give a beginner pro a run for their money” is 7d (2700)

“strong pro” is at 3000
“top pro” is at 3500

Alpha Go is at like 5500 or something ridiculous.
