I poked, but didn’t realize that the top white group if cut would be dead. Somehow my opponent didn’t realized that. I didn’t deserve the win.
Not the luckiest moment ive ever had, but one that that happened recently:
Just few days ago, i was playing with a friend. It had been really close game since the opening, half-point match decided by the last “half-point ko”. We had fought over that decicive ko for a while, i had just recaptured it with only 2 ko threats remaining. My friend had wasted 2 threats earlier during the fight, but was still ahead by one threat. I knew i should lose the game as opponent had 3 threats to my 2, but i hoped that maybe i could sell one corner attachment as a legit threat.
But then suddenly, instead playing any ko threts, my friend commented on chat something like “oh okay, i didnt count but i believe you have more threats” and passed! I then filled the ko and won by 0.5 points ^^
Kinda feels bad for winning like that, but i guess “a win is a win”, eh?
