Where to place your topic?

Always find it difficult where to place a topic, so I made a scheme for it.

These three questions are leading you to the correct category:
Column 1: what is the subject of your topic?
Column 2: what categories can I chose from?
Column 3: is there a subcategory that fits best for my topic?

I think the “Support” category is for asking for help with a specific issue. I think this category would be better placed in the “Meta” category. Isn’t that ironic?

Correct. Descriptions of Meta and Support are more or less overlapping.
One difference: Meta deals only with forum, Support with forum and site.

@mark5000
I have absolutely no idea what this means or what you try to tell me.

Edit: Ah, I see you placed a topic about placing a topic in another category; not support but meta.
LOL or should I say Meta LOL :grin:

Haha, precisely. In short, “Meta” is for the “where?” and “Support” is for the “how?”
