For some time now, every game that times out gets annulled. So, now when someone is losing, they just let the timer run out and it’s annulled. I used to love OGS, but now I get all my wins annulled.

The annulments are not due to timeouts, but due to insufficient number of moves played. There is a threshold of N moves for NxN boards before which the game is annulled. (This is for historical reasons and there is a debate about lowering the threshold, but as far as I know, there hasn’t been any consensus reached.)
You can resume your love of OGS!
