Currently we can either be in automatch pool (“Play Human”) or accept one of the open games. This makes it harder to find the game and discourages usage of automatch. Ideally I would click “Play Human” and monitor the available games. If I accept one there I would expect to just be removed from automatch pool.
I assume the issue is some sort of race condition possible when I click accept AND autopool matches me with someone at roughly the same time. Is that the reason or is it a design choice? I feel like it could be solvable and would reduce player fragmentation between the two features and make it easier to use.
