Awesome, congrats to Alex!
I just think the western Go world needs to communicate these things better. It would have been exciting to follow the matches as they were played. I didn’t even know about the tournament.
Shall we have a page dedicated to tournaments on OGS?
There are people like @Sadaharu making blog posts and threads about Go news and tournaments like
etc or @xiaodaiboy I think is running https://www.reddit.com/r/proweiqi/ again with pro news.
@Devin_Fraze has a “coming soon” under the link to baduk club news.
I suppose it’s probably not very centralised in general, and you won’t know where to look for general updates in English say of the Go world.
EGF will do updates on their site, and on facebook they’re quite active.
AGA have revamped their news/articles over the last while, and they also have a section for blogs.
But in terms of covering the games and sgfs, yeah we don’t really seem to get much coverage of that overall. It looks like TelegraphGo got some of Alex’s game records from @groin’s post, but I’m not sure where, maybe from Alex himself? I’ll watch the videos and report back. Another video went up also
Great job!
WOOO CONGRZ!
This is amazing! Great news!!
