Yet another 20K trying to get better

Hey All,

Been playing on and off for a while. But I’d like to try to improve my game. Looking for some folks who will both wipe the floor with me and tell me how they did it.

Live or correspondence?

Either way. Live if our times work out but correspondence if not.

I’m down for a correspondence game on any board size with a reasonable handicap.

This comment I made last month may also interest you, judging from your recent 9x9 games:

Mark’s your man, esp for 9x9

For 19x19, “tell me how you did it”, Dwyrin’s Basics series is good … with a word of caution that Dwyin rubs some people the wrong way.

The first and second in that series - published in 2015 (!) - are a bit “finding his feet with the concept” … from the third he’s settled into the theme I think.

Clossius also has some “basics” training somewhere I think.

I also found Nick Sibicky Go Lectures very good as a beginner, he’s mostly finished / on break ATM but that’s no reason you can’t go back and enjoy the 500 odd lectures he already made

Thanks for the great suggestions so far!

Dwyrin recently compiled his first few basics videos into a video called “Basics Season 1” or something, with better audio
