Seeing that the game was turning to the Emperor’s disadvantage, Yang-Kue-Fei, who was looking on, placed her beautiful cat on the map. The cat disturbed the pieces and in this way saved the Emperor from the humiliation of defeat.
One of the things I like about this anecdote is that it implies that Yang-Kue-Fei was more skilled at Go than the Emperor and it involves cats ofc.
