Any way to delete a shared variation in a correspondence game?

I was looking for a way to save a variation I was working on in a correspondence game, and I clicked “share”, thinking that it was going to bring up another menu or window where I would choose different methods of sharing (like email…). Unfortunately the button just automatically shares my variation with my opponent, so now he knows my entire plan!

Is there any way to delete it before he gets back to the game?

I saw this thread, but there was no definitive answer and then it rambled on into different subjects.

Are shared variations deletable?

I accidentally shared the variation in Analysis (NOT Review) of my whole game with my correspondence opponent… If possible I would like to delete it before he sees it or there goes all my strategies but I can’t seem to… I know reviews are not deletable for some unfathomable reason. Are variations undeletable as well? Can the mods help to delete it please? It’s like the only correspondence game I have on right now (cos the guy derives sadistic joy in drawing the game out).

I also called a mod but nobody has showed up yet.

Here’s an update: a mod just stopped by and said that there’s no way to delete it, but the developers are aware of the issue and may take a look at it in the future.
