In more than 20 British musea you can find them.
Here is just a tiny sample of these artefacts.
Wondering if Dutch musea also have go artefacts.
Probably not and if they do have not so many, is my guess.
Although not a weiqi board, the first is beautiful. Is that a cat on his knees?

Boy holding Dog sitting on a Shogi Board (or maybe a 10x10 Go board). From the late 17th Century, painted porcelain and similar to the boy on Go Board in the Fitzwilliam, Cambridge. He wears an orange leotard and the board has floral decoration on its white sides. Currently in Gallery 37 Japan 1600-1900.
Well it happens more often that the board has too many lines, like in the next painting (i counted 21?)
Yep, the artists of go scenes often employ their poetic license.
Or they simply haven’t a clue about go.
