Can't join due to active warning

If I want to join a game I get a pop-up message says I have an active warning that I need to acknowledge. I can’t find any traces of such a warning and I’m not sure what I could have done to get a warning. I did report someone else, but even after cancelling my report I can’t seem to join any live games because of the pop-up message. Others on this message board seem to have had the same issue. What to do?

Yes, I just found out about the other forum. My account seems to be entirely blocked from opening games and I don’t even get the pop-up message anymore when I try to open a game. How can this be solved?

Already tried that, didn’t work for me!

Perhaps the difference here is that the person reported by hugonoko didn’t acknowledge the warning. (I think the report is R475.)

Currently my ‘Play Computer’ and ‘Play Human’ buttons are grayed out and unclickable :frowning:

Do you have any clue who would be able to solve this?

Perhaps Greenasjade can do something, let’s wait a little.

As for “intervention” to get this account working again: it’d be @aneok , to clear the has_active_warning flag on the account.

What I can do is dig in to find out why are we having this problem - obviously it ought to be impossible to have the play buttons greyed out and no warning popping up.

I’ll also put it “on the list” to enable any moderator to take this action.

On top of that, “report acknowledgement messages” are not supposed to generate a “you must click this” at all!


Timezone-wise, it’s “still a while” before anoek is on line, and I guess it’s the weekend also…

I guess there also may be bug for those who got warning too.
I think additional button is needed inside Reports Center. So if message doesn’t load automatically, it will inevitably load if you press this button.

Yes, in fact we should just have a page of “My messages” with acks and warnings in it, which you can clear from there.

So that means my account is effectively blocked over the weekend? And what if @aneok never logs in again?

Oh nvm I thought @anoek was de person I reported, but that’s not the case. Thanks for thinking along with me :slight_smile:

We’ve put a temporary work around in while we figure out what’s going on, you should be all set for the time being.

FYI we’ve fixed “the thing that broke”, which caused the sudden burst of this problem.

We’ve also added a “button” for moderators to clear a person’s warnings, so in the (please please please) unlikely scenario this comes up again, we can quickly help.
