Hello, this is Chaero.
Ah… I’m mentioning this because some of you might not have seen it, but I am posting an apology regarding the use of artificial intelligence on the forum, as discussed in my previous post.
I thought that on OGS, the use of AI was prohibited only when it constituted cheating.
I wasn’t fully aware of the forum rules, so I thought using AI was allowed. That’s right—I used AI for about 40–60% of the project.
I really tried to follow the rules in various ways… but well, it turns out I’ve violated them after all.
I sincerely apologize for this matter.
If you notice any inaccuracies in the translation, please let me know in the comments.

Hello Chaero.
I was not aware that a rule had been made for the forum either. What was your project about?

So, the voting results show overwhelming opposition to AI generation, right?
Hmm… actually, there aren’t any specific rules about it, but back when we held a vote on allowing AI usage, the opposition was overwhelming.
this one is AI assisted / AI generated
Two years after the birth of the dark Sai , Hikaru finally opened his eyes. He was sitting at a Go board he did not recognize, surrounded by black and white stones.
“Ugh… my head…” He grabbed at his temples, feeling unfamiliar calluses on fingers that looked too long, too strong. “Where am I? Why am I here? Why is… my body… so big?”
“What is this board game?” Hikaru frowned at the board. “I… I think I’ve seen something like it before. At Grandpa’s house.”

thanks for pulling those polls up @jlt
So, the voting results show overwhelming opposition to AI generation, right?
I would note that there are clear carve-outs for translation and explicitly-marked uses. Only 21% said there should be no AI use at all.
