Yeah, I’m sorry, the exact spot is a bit tough here, this castle is too popular it seems. I didn’t notice the number of spots, since I choose the place zoomed out ![]()
I kinda have a picture from there, but really y’all have traveled too much for me to post my lowly photos.
You never know. Most of my posts I have never been to. The one I had took 5 min, and the picture looked different then the last time I had been there. My strategy is to pick a place drop my person randomly, and if I like it then take a picture and bookmark the link.
Now, Haze, regarding the coral reef… Do you have another hint? Maybe a photosphere nearby with some clues?
Thanks! I’ve found the right place, now I’m searching for the first picture.
Was my hint too obvious?
Not really - I couldn’t really read it and needed several tries. So that was probably perfect.
Finally:

Amazing! See how a few buildings can change the game completely
As for @KAOSkonfused’s last challenge, we’re back in former Teutonic areas, it seems…
Also with a harbour, since this is a ship’s mast?
It’s not a ship’s mast. I assume it’s something like a Maypole, although in the Wikipedia article about maypoles, this country is not mentioned.
Here’s a detail from the playground, no idea if this will help:
And this is the castle from a different angle:
i think i found it

at first i googled “russian castles” because of the “.ru” domain of the website. I then went on and did the same research on the surrounding lands and finally came across this castle:) (very neat one!)
You beat me to it, I had just found it after focusing way too long on Polish castles before switching to the Baltic states…
I was expecting it to be tougher, but it was the first dam I tried (after searching for “famous dam”):
Big tip: it think it is in China or Japan
OK. Hint: It’s a place I visited very often before Corona. There are only so many people on the square once a year.
Ha, got it!
Thanks! I finally found it. On your profile, I saw that you are in the group “Braunschweig Go”, so I looked for Open Airs in Braunschweig, but in the end I basically took a complete virtual sightseeing tour through Braunschweig before I found the Universitätsplatz. By the way, while in other places photospheres will often show tourist apartments, in Braunschweig you’ll see all kinds of shops and fitness studios. Oo
Here’s a new one:
