I also stumbled over this article: https://libcom.org/library/lovable-anarchism-campus-protest-japan-1990s-today
Aaaand another one:
No idea if this will be “guessable”. I didn’t have much to choose from - there are only a few photospheres nearby, and no streetview at all.
Easy. I looked for a red lighthouse (in fact the results were red-white-striped). Then I found one with a red stripe near the ground on the island of Amrum. Found it on google maps -> finished.
new one:
Cool.
Your’s was also easy:
How is @KAOSkonfused so good???
Why didn’t @KAOSkonfused give a new challenge?
I didn’t have time yet to look for a place. Before, I always had prepared a few beforehand, so I just had to post them, but I don’t have anything left now.
So, thanks for posting something!
I… I think I know this one because I wanted to post a picture from there
Edit: or maybe not. I thought I knew the lady in the yellow west from when I was looking for the guys who killed Captain Alex.
Edit 2: Whaaatt! It actually is Kampala, Uganda.
Interesting, I have never heard of “Who killed Captain Alex?” before. I really thought nobody would get the location without a hint, but I didn’t know people had apparently searched the surroundings of Kampala ![]()
virginia?
or somewhere on earth
Cool!
I was so close… Had searched basically right next to that location (Kampala and Entebbe), but somehow overlooked that place.
Btw, I didn’t really know where to look, so I looked at various places all over Africa via Streetview, to get an idea which countries have places that look similar to this one, and I had a feeling that East Africa was right (and that it should probably be an English speaking country). That was all I had.
The second picture really helped. I looked for “Delta City” and checked if Belgrad has trolleybusses.
I don’t have a new challenge for this thread at the moment. Feel free to post something.
Serbia!!!
I had already searched police cars and vans in Germany, Switserland, Austria, France, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus…
The only clue I see is what seems to be an elephant in those decorations. Well, that, and an indian peafowl made out of… flowers?
Seems to be a tropical country? And is that Thuja?
