And this one was fun too! Took me a while to find the cacti after finding the place, it’s a photosphere.
Nobody solved this one.
This place has been named four times on the forum, including, very sneakily, once in this thread!
Don’t tell me you edited it into a random post.
Oops, I somehow overlooked it. Maybe I’ll find time to search later…
I didn’t, actually. Nobody put the word in this thread on purpose, I think.
Your hint didn’t help much - I looked around for bridges in the UK, and in the end, I only found it because I could guess the name Sa…field. But now I know the place is Limerick, and it all suddenly makes sense.
Hahaha, good one! Let’s see…
It took a bit longer than I expected, because first I was stuck in a museum in the right city before I discovered the name written on the right side of the picture. Then I was stuck for a while in the elementary school, but I finally found it in the middle school.
But why inside! It’s stunningly beautiful outside, I recommend anybody taking a look around on streetview through the streets of Iqaluit.
It's in Sri Lanka!
This was much easier than the one before - I didn’t guess the script immediately, but it helped to go through the countries with left-hand traffic.
You’re right. Looking around this town made me want to go there.
Got it!
Found it because I could just about read “ローズガーデン” (rose garden) on the sign (I first thought it was “コーズカーテン” which would be something like “course curtain”).
Kawakuchiko Music Forest Museum is a museum of automatic musical instruments, so the Swiss flags make sense.
That’s clearly the Bund in Shanghai. It’s difficult to find the exact photo sphere or street view, since there so many created by various tourists in this area.
Does anyone else get a weird bug when viewing Google Maps with the satellite view in parts of China? The street label overlay is offset from the satellite image for some weird reason.
It’s on purpose, since it’s forbidden to make an accurate map of China. It’s always distorted. See this
Oh, thanks for that information. I guess that’s why some photo spheres are on the completely wrong side of the river.
Wow, I had no idea…

Man, no social distancing.
It’s a Google Street View screenshot and was most likely taken before 2020.
