Go education is a pretty big market in CJKT regions, like in China alone is at the scale of tens of billions CNY (billions of USD).
They thought, give us a Chinese ranking from Chinese legends in time for 10 players. The highest level without playing tournaments in China is Dan 5.

These rating histories seem to confirm that 2d OGS is pretty close to 2d EGF (within a margin of error of about 1 rank).
But looking more closely, your OGS rating does seem to have gradually declined from about 2.5d to about 1.5d over the past 2 years (although itās a bit difficult to tell for sure, due to the noisy nature of the graph).
This may support that rumour that 1d-2d EGF players are more like 1k-2k on OGS nowadays, but I guess it would require checking many more OGS low dan player rating histories to confirm this.
As I said earlier, Chinese 5d seems to have a particularly wide range:

Do you mean getting a 5d diploma through recommendation? And yes there is a cap of dan ranking by recommendation and only few very strong players (usually pros) are qualified to make recommendations. And very few people get their diplomas this way.

Not yet 5 years ago, it was issued in May 2021. The Certification No on the upper left shows many things and is a way to authenticate it (and this format was issued by the regional Go associations, and IIRC, after 2022, even the registry and regulation for 6d moved from the central national association to local, before that the highest diploma one can get from recommendation was 5d).

Y indicates a dan ranking (X for kyu), 31 is the area code, so issued by the Shanghai Association (a branch of the CWA). 2105 is the year and month: 2021, May. 05 after that is the ranking number 5 dan. And the last 5 digits are the real serial number - the number of diplomas issued by that association that month (the first digit 5 isnāt part of the serial, it just means the category of Go, so this is the 2nd Go diploma issued by the Shanghai Association that month, so early May, 2021).

I donāt understand what you mean here. What is Purim and who is Ashur? And what does it imply?
Edit: OK, I tried to look it up. What I found is that Purim is a Jewish holiday (celebrated on 13 and 14 March in 2025) and Ashur is a biblical reference to an ancient Persian king (possibly Xerxes the Great) who is related to the story behind Purim. From the images on the Wikipedia page, the celebration looks joyful, a bit like Carnival.
Still I donāt understand what this has to do with posting a screenshot of your EGD rating profile. I suppose there is some kind of cultural gap here (besides a potential language gap).
