I’m thinking it would be cool to find a ranked list of what games have a lot of watchers. or even to have a list showcased as a sidebar item like “top ten games right now” or something. Thoughts?

Observe games does currently allow you to list live games by strength (the star icon). At the moment it will show you the total number of live games but only show you the top 9 games.
I think @rmroulette wants essentially what we have on observe games, except sorted by number of observers as opposed to rank, which might be pretty cool.
There’s a couple technical issues to solve to make that happen, we’ll have to think on them a bit when we get there. We’re planning on revamping that page in the not too distant future, so we’ll keep it in mind when we do so
