So a few mins ago I sent a fr to @trohde then I received one from him as well.
After I accepted his request, I got another notification saying he accepted mine.
So somehow Person A & B sending fr to each other has a bug.
Heh, yes, I got two new notifications but forgot to screenshot: on top was that @SoumyaK4 had accepted my FR, below was his FR.
But IIRC the PM system is some 3rd party code? (I understand nothing of coding though.)
I’m not sure if this is a bug?
What I think is likely the case: if someone is not your friend yet, you can send them a friend request.
So both people can send the other a request.
This can’t really be prevented (since both can send the request at the same time).
If someone sent you a friend request, you can accept it.
I guess it sound odd (a bug?) that if you accept someone’s friend request then your outstanding request to them is not cancelled (it seems).
So they can still accept yours, even though you’re already friends now.
Is that what you’re saying?
Basically:
- You are his friend.
- He is your friend.

Haha, seems like 2fa of friendship ![]()
Yet another thing that would be resolved by a follower model (because it’s no longer a bug)
