Transatlantic go: no game today

Any idea why game 5 of the transatlantic go championship was delayed a week?

I assume they want to make sure that that time-out debacle doesn’t repeat.

Or at least have a pre-emptive decision on most possibilities

First official win.
Moreover: “youngest person ever to win an official match”.

Well done. :joy:

chieko

Sumire played as white, so she beat Tanaka Chieko on her strongest color.

  • 8/27 = 29.6% as black
  • 5/21 = 23.8% as white

Her last recorded game happened in 2017, a game she lost to Inaba Karin 1p, who also beat Gansheng Shi two years prior. Before that, the most recent game I can find is from 2007. Her last recorded win dates back to 2004, a bloody 161-move-game versus Okuma Chikeko 3p.
