Park Yeonghun (Black) 0-1 Byun Sangil (White) kifu Geez, 305 moves!
Next games are going to be played 11-12 April, probably because LG Cup games are next week.

Early stages of LG cup are going on but mostly nothing interesting is happening. Except yesterday Lee Sedol lost to #92 goratings Chen Xian 6p. https://home.yikeweiqi.com/#/live/board/16821
Don’t most old black & white pictures look creepy? I feel like the exposure is doing weird things to his eyes, and all of the dark objects blend together.
Also, Mi Yuting is out of the 3600 club, and below Fan Tingyu in the ratings, after losing in the 3rd round. Hope his form pick back up, his games are great to watch when he’s playing well!
First of all, LG preliminaries ended. Most surprising and praised was Choi Jeong (#74 goratings and strongest female player) for winning against Gu Zihao and making it into the main tournament.
In Japan we had 74th Honinbo league play-offs. Three players scored 5 wins and 2 losses: Shibano Toramaru, Hane Naoki, Kono Rin. Kono Rin first outplayed Hane and today won against Shibano. Good job, Kono Rin.
Of course, we have Transatlantic Go started but everyone knows about that.
Here’s something you may not know about. First China-Korea-Japan Ryusei is about to start.
April 11th: Ichiriki Ryo vs Ke Jie
April 12th: Kim Jiseok vs First game loser
April 13th: Winners of first and second games
Also on 22nd of April we’ll have the first game of Nakamura Sumire as a full fledged professional.
Japan-China-Korean Ryusei continues. In second round Ke Jie won against Kim Jiseok. So tomorrow Ichiriki Ryo will play against Ke Jie in final game just like in the first round. As you remember Ichiriki won that game. Though this time I feel Ke Jie is going to be much more fierce.
Ke Jie - Kim Jiseok kifu: https://home.yikeweiqi.com/#/live/room/17053/1/14006456

Pics:
Hey, so apparently 10 year old pro Nakamura Sumire played in fast go tournament 若竹杯 and scored her first win as a pro against Tanemura Sayuri 2p. Next game she lost against Muramatsu Hiroki 6p. I think.
Looks like a niche tournament with fast time controls so no game records for us.
China: Ke Jie, Mi Yuting, Gu Zihao, Yu Zhiying, Wang Chenxing Japan: Murakawa Daisuke, Ida Atsushi, Motoki Katsuya, Mukai Chikai, Nyu Eiko Korea: Shin Jinseo, Lee Ji Hyun, Park Jeong Hwan, Choi Jeong, Oh Yujin Chinese Taipei: Yuan-Jyun Wang, Li-Hsiang Lin, Hao-Hung Hsu, Joanne Missingham, Hsin-Hui Pai Europe: Ilya Shikshin, Pavol Lisy, Mateusz Surma, Natalia Kovaleva, Ariane Ougier North America: Ryan Li, William Shi, Eric Lui, Xuefen Lin, Gabriella Su
Surma lost to Park Junghwan. They played some joseki and then Surma went for 3-3 push and cut joseki. It was ok, ok and then boom, much better for Park (at least to LZ).
Ryan Li played against Murakawa Daisuke. And he had such a great position the whole time but in deep middle game Murakawa found something and completely shut down the game.
