Territory doesn’t matter.
So if white becomes black it will be red but in some other examples color does not matter , I need to change a few colors now.
Wait what?
I’m having difficulty changing the rule I guessed earlier such that it explains why some Koans are red where no row or column contains three stones of the same color. For example if I change “three” to “two” in that rule, then all the examples where two rows and two columns are filled by one color, don’t work anymore …
This is a color change from a earlier one that @martin3141 submitted.
To add a bit more info to the earlier hint:
1 = Dead, 2 = Losing, 3 = Territory, 4 = Development/Influence
I am starting to think those are what is not the rule?
I can’t see your image for some reason.
5=? (I’m asking for the 9x9 board)
I can see my image too for someone reason thought I was lagging .
hmmm… If i had to give 5 a name I’d say
5 = very high
That’s green.
So in this case color does not matter
Just want to think out loud, what from this clue:
can be used to craft a rule consistent with these:
There are also several green examples with just several stones on the edge of the board.
But in a case earlier we switched the color and the result changed.
Can I ask about this Koan please:
But…
New Guess:
Each row and each column containing the maximum number of black stones has the same distance to their nearest edge. And the same for columns containing the maximum number of white stones.
