7d (just a hunch based on the other guesses and a look at the game)
so I was at first wondering why there were top dan guesses, but I guess the mistakes I found aren’t something you can just tap by and see.
First up on my things I don’t like is G6 which feels like it’s just better at F6 (for reasons that become clear later in the game)
next kakari at K7 feels like aji-keshi
I was initially curious about E5, but it turns out that makes things complicated for another variation later (although I still might wanna save it for later)
My next question was “why not H9 instead of E8? The ladder doesn’t work” And while H9 does work, E5 makes it a complicated semeai that the bot I checked with initially thinks is good for w, but after probing the bot there doesn’t seem to be a way w can avoid losing the semeai…
Which then leads into the question of “why not H9 instead of H7”, and the answer (after manual reading, because apparently I can’t trust bots) is that while it does work, it requires an annoying sacrifice that b might not have wanted to make.
And my last complaint is the cut at K17, while it does work, it seems worse than just jumping out.
These are only a few complaints, and it’s certainly above my level (even for 1hr/side play), but not top play
3 dan is my guess.

It seems like a mid dan game, but you never know with OGS since there are almost no high dan players here

Yeah there are not many 9d games except for bots, and it doesn’t look like a bot game so I’m probably wrong but maybe there’s a chance if it’s an old game?
If it was a game involving strong players, a lot of people would have seen it. Maybe it was a game long time ago, but dan players were still rare back then. So idk
Oh, I wouldn’t have said 8d then.
Interesting: this seems to mean that OSG mid level dans play at 8d level!

These guys clearly know their stuff. They play modern style and subtle moves. Clearly way above my head. So probably high dan, maybe western pros. I’d be very surprised if they are any lower than 7d.

Funny, I actually considered saying 1p for half a second but quickly shook the thought out of my head because I didn’t realize we had pros who play on OGS. So I decided to randomly go for a mid-dan rank.
I’ll raise my hand to throw up the next game if no one else has one they’re dying to put up.
