There were some nice active play with good timing and sacrifices, and the kind of mistakes one plays when trying too hard. I’ll say strong sdk or low dan. I’ll venture 1d.
This is an interesting game for me because I never play, and rarely even see, the “jump-out sanrensei” (8) instead of the usual “dive-in sanrensei” of (8) R17.
The peep (20) feels a bit vulgar, removing the S12 connection aji, but it’s not like I’d call it a mistake.
(38) is too hurried for my style, since I’d rather continue on the bottom side, but again I can’t really fault playing swiftly there.
(58) seems to have been a mistake, and a little fancy. (69) perhaps lacks some severity, but that could be a style approach.
Overall, my feeling is that the players are noticeably stronger than me (EGF 4k) but not massively stronger (not as much as, say, EGF 3d).
I guess that they’re 1k EGF, aka new-ranks 2d or, I suppose, old-ranks 2k – the same sort of range that terrific put forward.
