When the game happened, yes.
I’ll go with 12kyu because I’ve no idea what the ranks are like these days.
Yeah, I would never find it if I didn’t edit an SGF and upload.
17k
10k
They are much weaker now than were before.
No josekis, lots of bad shapes but some fighting spirit. I’d say 13k.
9k
14 kyu
5kyu
Since 12k, 13k, 14k, 16k, and 17k are taken, I’ll have to say 15k.
I’d be surprised if they’re not in that 12–17k band.
I suspect I may be pitched a little too low in that band, though…
- GreenAsJade 16k
- shinuito 12k
- Gurxtav 17k
- Stone_defender 10k
- jlt 13k
- Groin 9k
- qnpnpmqppnp 14k
- Atorrante 5k
- bugcat 15k
Anyone else want to have a guess?
Maybe not gonna wait too long before revealing the answer since we’ve had quite a few participants.
Answer
They were both 6k.
YongChin vs. slavka012
@Atorrante is the winner!

Wow, that was a very wierd SDK game!
They’re both stable accounts and the time control was almost a standard 10 + 5 x 30.
As GaJ says, just a very strange game… I certainly suspect that they didn’t play anywhere near to an expected 10 + 5 x 30 speed, of course.
White, in fact, has a massive amount of games to his name, almost 7,500.
Don’t know the mores of this thread; is it customary that I now select a game for the next round?
Or is it a free for all?
It’s the custom that the winner of the previous round has the right to first refusal.
what does this mean?
You have the privilege of choosing the next game if you want, but you’re not obliged to.
Well, some other time maybe. Let someone else set up a nice challenge.
