I’ve clicked on the bit.ly link, but oddly, there is no counter next to it.
Yeah… This is an even bigger mystery now!
I get the feeling the forum might know it’s an internal link.
but that doesn’t explain why the original link had a counter…
https://forums.online-go.com/badges/28/popular-link
Still the shortened link as above
Do any of these get counters (reposting the same links)? The first one should unless something is broken. I was wondering if it’s something to do with the display either.
why…
As in why did three copies of two links, or why does it not work for that shortened link?
The answer to both is I don’t know
The forum software is an open source project, which could possibly shed some light on the behavior
One could submit an issue or even a pull request
“Describe the problem or need that your pull request addresses”
”I really want to get the popular link badge for linking to the popular link badge”
Later…
This patch retroactively awards the popular link badge to links to the popular link badge that reached 50 clicks before the update in hot fix 42.701.094-beta-nightly.v2.final

Four, at least, rä-iii-ääääi-nnnnn
Two, because she starts with a diphthong (“aī”), and moving from the “a” to the “ī” is part of the same sound. But the second “a” is a new syllable:
raī-an
What are the lyrics of “Up On The Housetop”?

I don’t know the song, I used the same technique I’ve used in school tests.
Shouldn’t it be “for the little ones’ joy”?
(Also hearing the song for the first time, btw.)

Variant pronunciations arise to denote variant viruses. Language imitates life.
