What’s the difference and uses between breeding and husbandry?

I heard journalists and politics say omicronE and not omicron with a french on. (Like maison in french ) Is that only in France (and apparently not for everyone?)

Husbandry has more specific connotations with animals, but refers to the broader notion of raising and managing their care. This word might also sometimes be used to refer the management of crops or other resources, but clarification might be needed. For example, I think phrases like crop husbandry or forest husbandry are possible. I doubt that the word is ever applied to humans, except maybe rarely as metaphor which might have somewhat degrading implications due to the strong association of the word with animals.

Breeding is more specifically related to mating and controlling the nature of offspring. It could be used for animals, plants, or even humans. When using it with humans, it is often a way to more broadly refer to upbringing, class/caste, and family background rather than just genetics. With humans, it might also be used as slang for unprotected intercourse.

I’m a natural at seamlessly opening (not like those amateurs that end up with a jarring handle noise), but my pivot needs work.
What’s your opening door talent?

  • Step synchronisation
  • Seamless handle operation
  • Pivot step
  • Strong closing finish
  • I’m a “door towards me” person

I have this neat technique where I can swing a door open towards me, step through it and without looking use my free hand behind my back to catch the handle and pull the door closed behind my back sans turning my body around. I’m quite proud of it.

It seems like we should discuss at least four distinct possibilities separately: whether the door is opening towards you or away from you, in combination with whether the knob is on your dominant hand side or not. Additionally, we might consider modifications to the technique for situations where the door is initially open and we wish to leave it closed after passing through, and vice versa.

After this, let us consider how we handle a chair.

No video ya know… But I consider myself as a king of silent opening on many different locks (by frequent change of sleeping rooms too). And walking without noise on a variety of floors.
Because my folks around are incredibly sensible to any noise in the night so I did practice a lot.

There are interesting sociological studies on doors like how german like you to close it when americans will prefer to leave it a bit open.

I might be able to contest that claim.

One of my previous housemates hated me for walking so silently, he’d jump out of his skin about once per month after not hearing me arrive in the room.

My sister is opposite: heels first.

I imagine a place full of noise traps and different kind of doors (and light sleeping judges)

As a side anecdotical talent, i have competence in lightening a cigarette without being noticed by the noise of the lighter.

Actors have a no-pivot stage-exiting technique that I’ve never seen explicitly described:

Pulling the door closed from the wrong side feels so unnatural but looks smooth on film. Is this an unspoken secret or just something obvious?

“A” king leaves the possibility open for there to be other kings, it is not a mutually exclusive claim and does not need contestation unless you intend to posit that Groin is not adequate at the stated skills.
