I was looking into @trohde games. He uses Malkovich log.
But the variations he recorded where not accessible, like only the text but not the link.
We checked together that these variation do exist in the Mlog in his game.

I look at few active games and all links are clickable.
@trohde is it appropriate to blame you for obscene words in public chat? I suppose you as a moderator should not say anything that doesn’t seems polite enough. I think at 97 move you comment should be something like “It is very unusual but very pleasant”

I saw this thread but this would be a problem from the origin, not from the receiver (observer). And Trohde confirmed me his variations are registered.
He even showed me a small video with the variations
I think the problem is only with Mlog because some other external links (like with sensei library) do appear

Could you confirm this is not a problem from the origin as well? To be specific, send a variation in your own game and see if you are able to click it
I wouldnt put too much weight on this. Links are different from variations (even though they have similar styling)
Here is not a Malkovich variation unclickable.
I cannot reproduce it on my Android phone.
Could you connect your phone by usb, enable usb debug and then connect from desktop chrome by chrome://inspect#devices and try to inspect there?

After all that’s what those fcu- uhm bloody Profanity filters are for, no?
Also, in games between friends, or at least with folks with whom you’ve played more than a dozen games, what it means to be “polite” can differ much, no?

Thanks for trying. This makes me think it’s the same issue @genbeart is facing. Seems to be client specific (his is an Android tablet) though unclear what is breaking things
In case it isnt clear on your end, the link is created, you just aren’t able to see it for some reason.

Yep, well actually it’s even more awful as what I was thinking, it’s like I can’t use Malkovich at all to record my variations.
