No ranked games vs computer?

When i try to play ranked games against computer it gives me error saying “no ranked games” available. I used to play ranked games against computer just 2 weeks ago?
Also, min ranked computer i can play is 8k. Is there no way to play something like 15K? I am a newbie here.

AI Game Restrictions

So a lot of people here don’t seem to know about the restrictions set in place by the bots admin, not ogs. The restrictions vary bot to bot, but if you aren’t align with the restrictions the bot will decline the challenge. So to make things easier i’m going to post the current restrictions of all the bots here. These are for normal game types only meaning 9x9, 13x13 and 19x19 I don’t know if they can play custom and im not trying every bot to find out. If a setting is missing feel free to post …

What bot ? I don’t know if it matters, but if it matters would be good to know.
(I looked it up for you in your profile, Master Mantis until 28th September, mainly Kugutsu afterwards, few GnuGo in between)

Your rank is 14k. I would strongly recommend to start playing against other humans. If you feel unsure, you can send me a challenge.

The following topic came up recently. It covers beginner bots and gives mainly the advice not to play (as often) against bots.

Bots for noobs?

Very new to the game less than one week in I enjoy the game but also feeling like im pounding my head into a wall I don’t understand the rank systems in any real depth, but I do understand the 8k bot and the 1d destroy me every single game would it be possible to have a bot that doesn’t win by 50 - 100 points or more every game? would add a lot more enjoyment to the learning process.

PS: Don’t know why Master Mantis isn’t available at the moment.

Thank you all for your responses. I changed bot to the gnubot(7k) and it offered a ranked game. However, still can’t find a lower ranked(~15k) bot…
