"Slow internet icon" problem

I keep getting a slow internet icon when I play a game (computer or human). I have checked my internet speed and its ok and works fine with other sites eg Pandanet. Is there a problem with the server as when I try a game after 4/5moves either a message appears saying the site can’t retrieve data, or the moves seem to disappear and I have to do them again with the clock against me. Any chance you can update me
