Just uploaded a few images to Wikimedia Commons and iNaturalist, and then thought I could share them here also:
Volvariella bombycina, commonly known as the silky volvariella, tree silksheath, silky sheath, silky rosegill (because the spores turn reddish with age), silver-silk straw mushroom, or tree mushroom.
German: “Wolliger Scheidling”.

Both German and English Wikipediae say “up to 20 centimetres” but the left one above had a diameter of ~25 centimetres, and I edited the German page to reflect this.
Both also say that this mushroom is edible, but the German page says they should be spared because of their rarity, and that they are potentially endangered because dead and fallen trees are increasingly being removed.
