It was in a small temple, one of the old monk lend us a set. The board was old but the stone was really nice, i’really like the sound and the feeling on my finger~~
After have been learning and playing baduk on ogs for
months, it was really strange to play on a real board, my brain was bugging some times ahahah
I was black and my opponent was one of my friends something like 7 kyu ? ( He doesn’t play a lot but watch baduk tv often ) , we didn’t get to finish the game but i was losing badly
Well, “it ain’t over till it’s over”, right? And to me (~7k) Black doesn’t really look THAT bad … left bottom, right bottom and side, still lots of opportunities, esp. given that there’s a nice B wall looking northwards …
The weather is still a bit too cold to play outside, so during lunchtime we play in the hallway upstairs.
Today 27 children came to play, which is quite busy for this school club. We even ran out of playing material and places to sit, so we had to disappoint a few children.
Currently our inventory is about 10 9x9 sets, 6 13x13 sets and 3 19x19 sets.
About a years ago I redistributed the playing material a bit to provide a 3rd 19x19 set, but perhaps I should change it again to focus a bit more on smaller boards, because that 3rd 19x19 set is hardly ever used.
A Gong Fu Tea shop and Kung Fu dojo - perfect venue for go club meetups! Also a great venue for a tournament on Saturday. I’ll take some photos from that to post as well!
