I turned vacation on, the game paused, and when I turned vacation off, the game resumed.

Ok, I think I will try to avoid timeouts without vacation mode 
Don’t feel forced to turn off vacation if you need it for a few days. We can wait.

Thanks, but I can’t be sure that everyone else agrees.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind that I think games should cycle by remaining time and not by game id 
(Homepage/profile isn’t always an option)

Just joined a game, my vacation doesn’t seem to have an effect 
hopefully it’s not just because it’s the first turn or anything weird like that

This game (that I’m using as example, no one else is in vacation mode and it’s not my turn) gets paused when I’m in vacation mode and is resumed if I put if off.
Rats, that is what I was asking, but not what I wanted to hear 
(At least we have a good testcase game now
