There’s new code at beta. Mostly taking care of flimsy challenge management - you should no longer be able to get put on 2 teams (or find yourself accidentally booted).
I feel like I have one more thing that “has to be fixed”
before begging anoek to let us have it on the main server. Is that about right - any other killers?

To clarify: do you mean that IF you create a challenge with analysis disabled, THEN some people still can analyse?

Yes, I created a challange with analysis disabled. It worked for all BUT one of the players who could analyze like nobody’s business. It was not the author of the challenge

So - it’s got some things going for it, but one problem is that the player card backgrounds were agonisingly designed to make sure that whatever colour the player name is, it still shows up against the top half of the gradient of the background - where the name goes.
This design change has pushed player name text down into the bottom half of the gradient, and some player-name colours now don’t contrast well with some theme versions of the the bottom of the player card (for example the normal-bluish colour of player name against the bottom of the black player card in light theme mode).
This is an extremely large can of very wriggly, slippery, bitey, hyperactive worms…
Edit: now that I made a fuss, I think I found a way … fix on its way.
