Robots in Terrihill: Werewolf Game 3.0

I meant that if everyone reveal their roles so we already know their roles I am the innocent detective in anyways I will die soon so we don’t really have to care about my role(did not really want to post again because I am posting a bit too much In this topic so I guess a edit would do.)

If you are the human detective, do you not care about helping the innocents win? Your death would not be unproductive, since it would out Leira, and confirm the innocence of HHG. Who do you think the remaining robot is?

This is a team game. It’s not about whether we individually survive, but whether or not we are able to defeat the robots. We all win or we all lose as one.

At school no one even bothers about teamwork while playing this game so I guess I have to think hard before the night arrives

True. That would be useful.
Two scenarios:
1/2: a) 李建澔2 is the human detective. After 3:2 (Robot kill + Villager hanging?), we know that Leira is a Robot, and kill her. We are at 2:1.
1/2: b) 李建澔2 is the Robot. We know that Leira is the Detective. Because 李建澔2 said I was innocent, natrually, I would be suspected. After she (gender assuming) investigates me, she will find out I am innocent. (Of course, I might be killed before that). Probablity B: Then, we would be at 4:1, and we will probably win! Also, the Robots are of yebellz and Gia, and, because it is a 4:1, it will. become (worst case scenario) 3:1 (Robot kill), 2:1 (Wrong innocent kill), 2:0 (right Robot kill). We win. Probablity A: However, if I die, it will turn out to be 3:1, and we will be (worst case scenario) (Robot kill) 2:1, (Wrong innocent kill) 1:1, (Robot kill) 0:1. We lose.

I must note that this argument is commutative. However, yes, it is essentially a sure win on one side and a 50-50 win on the other. That’s 75-25 which indicates that we should resolve.

If 李建澔2 turns out to be a Robot, then we should win.

Leira would be the detective. Gia would protect Leira on Night 2, and Leira would check one of HHG, yebellz or ginger. This would either find the remaining Robot or reduce the suspects to 2 out of 5 remaining players. With the majority advantage, the town will either kill the last robot on Day 3 or Day 4, before the robot can gain control.

Good. So we are decided?

I guess we are.

But we should also talk about what should be done during the night. If 李建澔2 turns out to be a robot, Gia should protect Leira. Who do we want Leira to investigate? Ginger2008, because he didn’t contribute much, what makes him somewhat suspicious? Or HHG, because 李建澔2 claimed to have investigated him?

And if 李建澔2 turns out to be the real detective, do you want me to kill Leira tonight (because I am the assaulter), although that would mean that I’d also die? This would also mean that Gia should in no way waste her power on me.

If Leira is the Hdet, I would prefer to verify HHG.

If Leira turns out to be a robot, one of us dies tonight anyway. KAOS, I can’t ask you to die for us.

Who should I protect tonight?

I do not know whether I should investigate HHG or not. I mean, if 李建澔2 lied about it, that was just exposing himself to be outed in two different ways.

Now he could have lied or told the truth, I’m not entirely sure, but we should not waste info on duplicates. I’d better investigate somebody else and figure HHG out later.

Leira should investigate one of ginger, yebellz or HHG. I don’t think the specific choice would matter, as any of those would lead to us being able to force the win.

I guess that would lead to an accelerated endgame. Let me try to recap:

  • 李建澔2 is killed on Day 2, but turns out to be the real detective.
  • Leira is killed by KAOS at Night 2
  • Robots kill an innocent, probably Gia (or HHG)

That would leave, ginger, yebellz, and HHG (or Gia) on day 3, where HHG (or Gia) would be confirmed as innocent. Then the game would come down to whether yebellz or ginger can convince HHG/Gia of their innocence.

If 李建澔2 turns out to be a Robot, then Leira must be the detective. Protect Leira and we can force the win by guaranteeing that we hear from them in the morning.

If you are the detective, it does not matter exactly who you investigate, as long as you check one of: yebellz, HHG, or ginger. Either way, we would have enough information to win.

Ok, then I guess we’ll leave the choice to you, Leira.

And I think I won’t play my card tonight, but I might take the time to calculate the chances again for that case later, so maybe I’ll change my mind over the course of the night if I reach the conclusion that we can benefit from that decision.

Day 2 Recap/Story

Hi everyone. Do you want to hear about my stakeout last night?

It was an interesting day, the robots were the only thing that people talked about.

At school there were some discussions about the robot’s powers.
“Do you think they can fly?”
“Yes of course they-” “No they can’t! They don’t have the-” “Yes they can…”
It was a huge argument at school. Some thought they could, but some thought they couldn’t.

At the town center, there were fliers stating that there was a emergency meeting that night.

Attention: Required Meeting Tonight

This meeting is to talk about the Terrihill robot crisis and how to try to solve it

Even just around the town, there were people talking about the robots.
“Are you worried about the robots?” “Yes of course!” “What should we do???” “We’re all gonna die!!!”

Later that night, I had a stakeout in the bushes right in front of the town center.

Suddenly, I heard a gunshot and people started rushing out of the building. The only one missing was @李建澔2. I rushed inside the building, after making sure no one would see me.

Inside, I saw Haze next to @李建澔2’s body. @李建澔2 had been shot, and he was dead. Haze appeared to be fishing some cameras and wires out of his pocket. He then dropped 李建澔2, and was mumbling something inaudible to himself.

Suddenly, he turned around to find me looking at him. He was startled for a moment, and then rushed out of that building as fast as he could.

I then looked closer at 李建澔2’s body. He appeared to be an ordinary human, just with a few cameras and wires that only the detective would have. The town adults must’ve thought he was a robot, and shot him. Unfortunately, now the town was down their detective.

I made a decision. Tomorrow, I will follow Haze, and find out where he is going. What could he possibly want from the camera and wire parts that he took.

It is getting late now, and I am going to get to bed. Good Night Terrihill, and hopefully we all live to see tomorrow.

Please do not talk in here until the night ends. Thanks.

李建澔2 is the Human Detective.

Damn!

On the desk, at Gia’s guestroom, a journal was found. It had a sticker glued to its cover: a picture of a music box toy that has the shape of a sad-looking wooden robot with a clockwork heart.

Beside it was a note was handwritten in perfect monospace font:

Thank you for your hospitality. I know you’ve been taught to hate Androidkind, and my actions will only confirm your prejudice. I had no choice, I hope one day you will forgive my deception.

THE JOURNAL OF 27-O-56

(don’t worry, no spoilers)

(Irrelevant entries have been omitted)
Day 1:

I’m afraid that cyborg forums on Achan have been radicalizing for quite some time. There have been increasing talks of revenge upon Terrihill, actual revenge; it’s no longer just the edgy memes we all started tolerating. Haze’s crimes are unforgivable, but most of us had chosen to move on. I fear the worst for what’s to come.

Day 25:

They finally have set up a date for what has been dubbed Operation Skynet. There are so many cultural references that one can hardly keep up with all the coded language. The attack has been set to happen a week from today.

Day 31:

All my efforts to speak some sense on these forums have failed. I’ve been called all sorts of slurs, I’ve been called a ‘Siri’ and an ‘Alexa’ more times than I can care to count. My arguments have been reduced to those of a “human-loving robot”. I never thought I’d hear that word again!, certainly not from my fellow droids; I guess I was wrong. I must go to Terrihill myself and try to stop this insanity.

Day 32:

It is much worse than I had thought. I intercepted a rendez-vous between an anonymous townsperson and Ms Kilroy. Leira of all people! Why did it have to be her? She’s become a complete technocide since the time we were friends. It breaks my heart to think even about it but, at all costs, I must prevent her from ever getting there.

Day 33:

What have I become!? Am I no better than them? My only consolation is that I think she survived. Oh, Leira! You used to be such a sweet child, what ever happened to you?
I took her suitcase but there was nothing useful in there. Those Turing tests are little more than pseudoscience, and didn’t help finding the other droids. I was lucky enough to find one of them but, alas!, I am too late: someone has already been murdered. From what I could gather Vepvots was a beloved poet, even if he is a bigot.
Something went wrong though, they told me, apparently 5P0-R-75 was hit by some strange time-stasis weapon; was this Vep’s doing? They call it the ‘Ban Hammer’. Be it as it may, 5P0-R-75 is nowhere to be found, as if banished from this plane of existence.

Day 33 (later):

I arrived at Gia’s Guesthouse. I activated my Duplicity App but she’s extremely suspicious of me; I have no choice but to play along. Maybe this was all a trap, my arrival here does not seem accidental. I cannot leave now, all roads are guarded, the whole place has been quarantined.
The town meeting was horrifying. I could see the blood lust in everyone’s eyes; we all talk of each other as expendable pieces of meat playing a horror game. Neither humans nor androids are doing anything to prevent this. The whole town is now dead-set on killing that clueless human detective, the poor soul! But it is us or them now. I am so sorry!

Day 33 (at night):

My identity has been exposed. I ran here from Town Hall just to write these last few lines. I have to go in hiding, but I doubt I’ll even survive for another day.
In defending myself I have now resorted to murder and felt absolutely nothing. Humans have given us a heart for pain but not for love; they do not know what our existence is like. They seem to have no mercy even for their own kind. I wonder who truly is a cold calculating machine.

Haze is just hoping that all of the people in Terrihill die so he can peacefully follow through with his plans to revive. No sense in reviving if you are going to be killed right afterwards. So basically Haze wants all of you guys to die. I should add a night time Haze story. What does he do at night?..

Coming Soon…
Also I will make sure to not delete my story during the night phase so there will actually be a story

Last night, a few things happened, mainly with the robots.

They wanted to kill someone in Terrihill, but then they also wanted to kill Vopvset. They couldn’t allow people to leave the town because they didn’t want to die. They had to split up. They were very careful to not come into contact with each other after their meeting

One robot got in their super fast car and sped as fast as they could to get to Vopvset. Obviously they had the car’s cloaker turned on so they wouldn’t be pulled over for speeding, or pulled over in general.

The other one went to go kill @Gia. At that same time, Gia was rushing out of her house. They ran right into each other. Before Gia could scream, the robot shot her with their laser. @Gia had died. All of the things she was holding fell out of her hand, and when the robot saw the energy traps, he rushed away before they could activate, leaving all of those things with her body. @Gia was the protector, and she was now dead. Since all of her materials for the traps were left there, people tried to get them to work, but no one could. The robots obviously failed on purpose. It was a good thing for them that someone else had tried before them, preventing them from accidentally losing their energy while doing this.

The only curious object she had with her was a tent. She must’ve been going to a stakeout or something. No one knew why she had a tent with her, but the tent was somehow missing all of the pegs. Why would Gia want a tent with no pegs…Unless the pegs had been stolen…

@Gia has now died. They were the protector.

You may now talk in this thread again.
