I notice that in some of my games score estimate is greyed out and seems to coincide with game analysis not being enabled.

Is this new? Because we were able to use score estimate previously when game analysis was off.

It’s new.

Score estimator is an analysis tool and therefore is disabled when analysis is disabled.

Score estimator should be optional when defining a match

There have been previous discussions about whether the score estimator should be optional or not, but I couldn’t find this in users’ voice, so I added it. If you agree that the score estimator functionality should be optional when setting up a match, please vote. Thanks.

Thanks very much for implementing this @flovo, I have tested it and it seems to be working as it should. This is a significant improvement that will be valued by organisers of official tournaments as well as other people who prefer to use analysis tools for post-match review and not while playing.

I think the create game dialog should possibly note that this will be the effect, as it does with conditional moves.
