I mean that the full game is a shape, not just a local part.
It’s almost symmetrical and created by playing a real game of go.

That’s an interesting shape! Black is alive, but white has infinitely many ko-threats (unless black “wastes” a move at some point to remove the double ko shape).
Stealthier then I thought!
“shape of pain”
missed it and lost by 0.5
I think I’m winning gomoku
Whole-board symmetry (more or less): @Jakobb (B) vs 7k
This big false eye is one of the problems in the book Diabolical, spotted in Yeonwoo’s video.
White needs two moves to make this eye real, due to oi-otoshi.
white fully dead
I know I’ve been getting a lot of mileage out of this video but I keep seeing new things I want to post.
Here’s a B2 bomber in a 4-4 joseki:
Have we had hexagon/benzene yet?
Not from a game, but I thought this problem (or rather its solution ) belonged here:
The rest of the solution sequence is just as pretty:
This problem is from here (scroll up a bit), and no variations other than the one above are shown. As far as I can tell, it’s possible for black to live without double ko, at the cost of sacrificing the outside:
From Redmond’s game Vs. Sotoyanagi 3P - YouTube (15th March)
Is a double B2 a B4?
No, it’s Rectangular Pacman.
Or, as in this case, the Envelope.
I made this shape as black Doesn’t it look like a strong and beautiful connection?
White rudely ruined it
Socially distant double approach
(ss seen in an OGS SDK game on GK)
