Right, sorry, I believe I got confused when midnight passed, but in my head it was still the day before …

This game is far from over

It’s crucial to prevent the Black chain at O4 from escaping. I think Blue-White has an obvious move, and I’ll play what I think is an obvious follow-up, but we’ll see!

Trying to connect the blue+black O4 chain back to our black stones on the top is probably our best chance to win this game, right? In that case we should probably avoid to capture O4.

I’m thinking about something like N6 or N7 for my next move, but all green stones in that area are very likely to die.

Round 80

Team Blue Green Pink
Black @Maharani: O5 @Jon_Ko: N7 @Vsotvep: N6
White @yebellz: P6 @Feijoa: P6 @terrific: P6

For the second time this game, all players of Team White think alike and collide! After placing all stones …

… both the pink chain N6 and the white chain N5 lack liberties. Since N6 was played this round and N5 was not, N5 gets removed first, opening new liberties. Then all other chains survive. New Position:

Team white was sad that the other three-colour stone got captured…

No way, with so many colors it’s surely invincible!

I suggest green play Q8. Anything green plays here will die eventually, so what you could do is to occupy the vital points so that blue-black has to make much more effort to connect. There are other good moves, too, if you don’t like Q8. @Feijoa

I haven’t been following extremely attentively, but from what I understand, isn’t the multicolour stone more fragile? It could die because of a white liberty shortage, or because of a green liberty shortage, or because of a blue liberty shortage, or because of a pink liberty shortage.

Should I play P4?

I think Q4 might work equally well.

I will play one of those two, as well.

I’ll play another vital point and watch P6 die :disappointed_relieved:
